By Elizabeth Leber on May 4, 2017
IGI Global Takes on AERA 2017 The 2017 AERA Annual Meeting, founded in 1916, took place on April 27 through May 1 in San Antonio, Texas. Over 15,200 individuals played a role in the 2017 AERA Annual Meeting as session organizers, chairs, discussants, presenting authors, non-presenting authors or other session participants. Scholars and attendees gathered from around the globe to learn and disseminate knowledge at a total of 2,562 sessions that were scheduled at the event.

IGI Global Takes on AERA 2017 As a reputable, academic publisher, IGI Global representatives Beth Ellen Dibeler, Assistant Director of Electronic Resources, and Mariah Gilbert, Assistant Managing Editor – Acquisitions were in attendance. Throughout the conference, IGI Global engaged with researchers by learning more about their subject area expertise. They took pictures of top-notch researchers sharing their research domain to learn and further identify how IGI Global could best support them. It served as an opportunity to meet with contributors and individuals passionate about educational research, many of which were interested in publishing with IGI Global.

In recognition of AERA's dedication to the advancement of educational research and development, IGI Global is offering a 20% discount on all books within the education information science and technology subject for the entire month of May.*

Overall, the conference was a huge success, and a special thanks goes to everyone who stopped by IGI Global's booth to interact and enter into the $100 Visa gift card drawing.
