IGI Global Editor Professor Pauline Reich Presents at Cyber Intelligence Asia 2015 Conference

Law, Policy, and Technology: Cyberterrorism, Information Warfare, and Internet Immobilization Cybercrime continues to increase around the world and many governments still struggle to identify imminent threat before it is too late. Cyber Intelligence Asia 2015, held from April 21st- 24th in Manilla, Philippines, is an annual event dedicated to combating cybercrime and developing secure computer networks focusing on regional cooperation in regards to cyber security, open source security, threat intelligence, identifying vulnerabilities, protecting government infrastructures, and internet security.

Now in its third year, Cyber Intelligence Asia provides attendees unrivaled opportunities to meet with senior government officials who deal with cyber security. IGI Global editor Professor Pauline Reich (Waseda University, Japan) will be presenting at this conference, promoting her ongoing work in cybercrime along with her IGI Global publication, Law, Policy, and Technology: Cyberterrorism, Information Warfare, and Internet Immobilization. Entitled "Japanese Cybercrimes Update," her talk will explore current cybercrimes statistics in Japan, along with how to combat these threats and prevent future attacks. Professor Reich's book explores similar issues, providing relevant frameworks and best practices as well as current empirical research findings in the area.
