Attendees from across the United States and around the world included scholars from a wide range of disciplines and fields, notable U.S. policymakers, and practitioners.

Organized around the theme “Toward Justice: Culture, Language, and Heritage in Education Research and Praxis,” sessions, panels, roundtables, lectures, and receptions highlighted issues of cultural, racial, gender, language, and other biases in an effort to move toward a greater awareness and understanding of how these paradigms influence education research, practice, and policy.

Held from Thursday, April 16th through Monday, April 20th in Chicago, Illinois, IGI Global had the pleasure of attending the conference, presenting at Booth 112. Nick Newcomer, IGI Global's Director of Marketing and Design, had the following comments on the event:

“It was a pleasure exhibiting at the 2015 AERA Annual Meeting in Chicago! I would like to extend sincere thanks to all of the individuals who stopped by the IGI Global display, and would also like to send a special thank you to the many IGI Global contributors who visited as well. This was the most rewarding event that I have had the pleasure to attend to date and I look forward to seeing all of you at next year’s meeting in Washington D.C.!”
