IGI Global's E-Resources Collaborates with ER&L to Enhance Libraries IGI Global attended the ER&L 2018 Conference in Austin, Texas on March 4-7. Taylor Rudnick, Databases Account Manager, represented IGI Global at the event and had the opportunity to speak with librarians from prominent institutions.

Two attendees in particular, Dr. Monica Rysavy and Mr. Russell Michalak (MLIS) from Goldey-Beacom College, U.S., stopped by the booth to share their excitement about their book chapter, "Information Literacy Education for 1st Year Composition Students: A Case Study of Three Deployment Modes," which is featured in the IGI Global forthcoming publication Learner Experience and Usability in Online Education, edited by Professors Imed Bouchrika, University of Souk Ahras, Algeria, Nouzha Harrati, University of Souk Ahras, Algeria, and Phu Vu, University of Nebraska at Kearney, U.S.

During the Electronic Resources Conference, the international academic publisher also had the opportunity to unveil its new pricing on their award-winning InfoSci®-Books database, which contains over 3,900 single and multi-volume reference books, handbooks of research, and encyclopedias. This database is being offered for perpetual purchase at only US$ 20,850 for new customers. This perpetual purchase will provide institutions with content from the 2018 copyright year, which encompasses groundbreaking research from prominent experts worldwide in 11 core subjects, including Business & Management, Computer Science & Information Technology, Education, Engineering, and Social Sciences & Humanities, for an average cost of US$ 11 per publication.

This pricing unveil followed their previous pricing announcement for their InfoSci®-Journals database, which offers institutions access to over 175+ journals containing 22,000+ articles with over a million citation references, for as low as US$ 4,950 to new customers (with a guarantee of no more than a 5 percent annual price increase). When institutions invest in this collection all IGI Global Open Access fees will be waived for researchers within the institution once their paper has been properly vetted and accepted.

Additionally, this new pricing structure has been applied to InfoSci®-Subject Book Databases, InfoSci®-Book Disciplines, InfoSci®-Journal Disciplines, and InfoSci®-eJournal Collections, all of which provide institutions with specialized e-book and e-journal collections that give them unlimited access to emerging research.

Per IGI Global's tradition, all the attendees who visited the booth at the conference had a chance to enter a drawing and be the potential recipient of a $100 visa gift card. This year's winner was Ms. Rebecca Harris (MLIS), Library Operations Manager at the University of New Mexico, U.S. IGI Global would like to congratulate Ms. Harris on her win and interest in IGI Global.
