Happy Chinese New Year From IGI Global

By IGI Global on Feb 6, 2019
Chinese-New-Year With over 4,000+ authors from China contributing to over 10,000+ innovative books and forward-thinking journals, IGI Global would like to wish our Chinese researchers, partners, affiliates, librarians, and the greater global community, a very prosperous and happy New Year.

February 4th marked the first day of the New Year, also known as the Spring Festival or the Lunar New Year, in the Chinese calendar. As one of the most celebrated events, this year’s global celebration is marked as the Year of the Pig.

During this time, IGI Global would like to thank our Chinese editors, authors, and affiliates who advance and support the quality academic content of IGI Global. With scholars hailing from some of the world’s greatest research facilities and universities, including Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Peking University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, University of Science and Technology of China, and Zhenjiang University.

Additionally, IGI Global is honored to work with industry leaders and our influential Chinese partners including China Educational Publications Import and Export Corporation (CEPIEC), China International Book Trading Corporation, CNKI, China National Publications Import and Export Corporation (CNPIEC), China International Book Trading Corporation, China National Sci-Tech Information (CTI Book), iGroup, and more. We wish you a prosperous and happy New Year and look forward to our continued collaboration.

All of IGI Global's Chinese-affiliated research is featured in the InfoSci®-Databases, which consists of InfoSci®-Books, a database of over 4,500+ books containing nearly 100,000+ chapters, and InfoSci®-Journals, a database of nearly 25,000+ peer-reviewed articles, and 1,000,000+ reference citations sourced from over 185+ scholarly journals.

Featuring IGI Global’s robust collection of edited and authored references, handbooks of research, critical explorations, case books, research insights, and research essentials. IGI Global’s InfoSci-Books database is being offered as low as US$ 8,580 US$ 6,435*, to ensure that librarians can affordably acquire emerging research for their institution.

IGI Global’s InfoSci-Journals database is being offered as low as US$ 5,100 US$ 3,825*, and contains peer-reviewed resources that have been featured in prestigious indices including Web of Science and Scopus.

These research databases span over 350+ topic areas in 11 core subject areas including business and management, computer science, education, engineering, social sciences and humanities, and more, making them a valuable resource for academic- and research-focused institutions. Additionally, as both databases are hosted on the InfoSci® platform, they host key features, such as free MARC records, no set-up or maintenance fees, COUNTER Compliant reports, full-text PDF and HTML format, no DRM, unlimited simultaneous users, and no embargo of content (research is available months in advance of the print release), and more.

Additionally, institutions who invest in these robust databases can take advantage of IGI Global's Open Access (OA) Fee Waiver (Offset Model) Initiative. For any library that invests in IGI Global's InfoSci-Books and/or InfoSci-Journals databases, IGI Global will match the library’s investment with a fund of equal value to go toward subsidizing the OA article processing charges (APCs) for their students, faculty, and staff at that institution when their work is submitted and accepted under OA into an IGI Global journal.**

Purchase or recommend InfoSci-Books or InfoSci-Journals to your librarian.
