Chinese-New-Year With over 4,000+ authors from China contributing to over 10,000+ innovative books and forward-thinking journals, IGI Global would like to wish our Chinese researchers, partners, affiliates, librarians, and the greater global community, a very prosperous and happy New Year.

February 4th marked the first day of the New Year, also known as the Spring Festival or the Lunar New Year, in the Chinese calendar. As one of the most celebrated events, this year’s global celebration is marked as the Year of the Pig.

During this time, IGI Global would like to thank our Chinese editors, authors, and affiliates who advance and support the quality academic content of IGI Global. With scholars hailing from some of the world’s greatest research facilities and universities, including Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Peking University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, University of Science and Technology of China, and Zhenjiang University.

Additionally, institutions who invest in these robust databases can take advantage of IGI Global's Open Access (OA) Fee Waiver (Offset Model) Initiative. For any library that invests in IGI Global's InfoSci-Books and/or InfoSci-Journals databases, IGI Global will match the library’s investment with a fund of equal value to go toward subsidizing the OA article processing charges (APCs) for their students, faculty, and staff at that institution when their work is submitted and accepted under OA into an IGI Global journal.**
