Featured New Releases: Handbook of Research on Political Activism in the Information Age and Political Campaigning in the Information Age

Political Activism in the Information AgeMay 5, 2014, Hershey, PA – IGI Global, an international publisher of progressive academic research, is pleased to announce the May releases of Ashu M. G. Solo's edited publications Handbook of Research on Political Activism in the Information Age and Political Campaigning in the Information Age.

The Handbook of Research on Political Activism in the Information Age offers a better understanding of methods for political activism in the information age, the effectiveness of these methods, and tools for analyzing them. This book presents an array of real-world political issues and how they relate to the ever-expanding realm of information. The publication will benefit researchers, politicians, public policy analysts, political scientists, students, and anyone involved in the field of politics.

Also released this month, Solo's other publication Political Campaigning in the Information Age increases our understanding of aspects and methods for political campaigning, messaging, and communications in the information age. Each chapter analyzes political campaigning in the information age, its methods, the effectiveness of these methods, and tools for analyzing these methods. This book will aid political operatives in increasing the effectiveness of political campaigns and communications and will be of use to researchers, political campaign staff, politicians and their staff, political and public policy analysts, political scientists, engineers, computer scientists, journalists, academicians, students, and professionals.

Ashu M. G. Solo is an interdisciplinary researcher and developer, electrical engineer, computer engineer, intelligent systems engineer, political and public policy engineer, mathematician, political writer, public policy analyst, political operative, engineering entrepreneur, former infantry platoon commander understudy, and progressive activist.
