Abstract
This chapter aimed to uncover the complex relationships between various factors influencing community-based tourism (CBT) and their impact on the livelihoods of indigenous communities in Ziro Valley, Arunachal Pradesh. It explored cultural, economic, and environmental dimensions, emphasizing their intertwined effects on residents' daily lives. Methodologically, the study conducted a sample survey in Ziro Valley, utilizing factor and multiple regression analyses to analyze the data. Results indicated significant effects of CBT factors on local livelihoods, advocating for a holistic approach to sustainable tourism. By addressing economic, environmental, and socio-cultural aspects simultaneously, the study promotes balanced and inclusive development for community well-being. Its findings contribute to both academic discourse and practical policymaking, emphasizing the importance of sustainable and culturally enriching tourism practices in the region.
