Abstract

Injuries whether caused by accidents or intentional violence are a major concern to all, robbing millions of lives globally every year. The transpiration of such tragic occurrence is conceivably to the general public regardless of age, gender, occupation, and geographical location. “Immersuasive” technology entails both terms - immersive technology which is an umbrella term that covers several reality technologies that could provide users the illusion of being at a place as well as the events happening within it, and persuasive technology that deals with the use of persuasion within digital platforms to encourage users to abandon certain behaviour and embracing new ones as well as altering their perspectives or belief towards certain issue. This chapter intends to look into the possible employment of immersuasive technology within the safety of education; several prospects were discussed including relevant concepts, rationale, and proposition of implementation.
