Abstract

This study explores the intricate relationship between perceived smart tourism technology (STT) experiences and tourist satisfaction (TS), recognizing the pivotal role played by innovative technologies in shaping contemporary travel experiences. The research employs a comprehensive approach to assess how tourists' perceptions of smart technology, including factors such as informativeness, interactivity, and personalization, influence overall satisfaction. By utilizing SmartPLS, the study aims to uncover nuanced insights into the intricate dynamics that govern the interplay between perceived smart tourism technology and the satisfaction levels of modern tourists. The research methodology involves the collection of perceptual data from a diverse sample of tourists throughout India, encompassing various smart technology applications within the tourism sector. Employing sophisticated statistical analyses, including regression modeling and structural equation modeling, the study seeks to quantify the impact of different aspects of smart technology experiences on overall satisfaction. This research contributes to the evolving landscape of smart tourism technology by providing a robust and nuanced understanding of its role in shaping tourist satisfaction. The findings are expected to have practical implications for tourism industry stakeholders, informing strategic decisions regarding the integration and enhancement of smart technologies to optimize the overall tourist experience. Ultimately, this study advances the discourse on leveraging technology to meet the evolving expectations of modern tourists and underscores the importance of perceived smart tourism technology in driving satisfaction in the tourism sector.
