Abstract

This research focuses on the intersection of transformational leadership and diversity and inclusion within a global and African context. Where does Africa fit in? Researchers conducted a qualitative case study on managing a diverse workforce in two West African organizations using interviews and surveys to collect participant data. A total of 15 high-level managers and their subordinates were interviewed, and a survey was conducted. Several qualitative analytical software packages were used for data analysis, including NVivo, SPSS, and SAS. The study's findings indicate how transformational leadership impacts the management of a diverse workforce and the participants' perspectives. Regardless of geographic boundaries, the results confirm the complexities diversity and inclusion bring to organizations worldwide.
