Introduction

Technology is a fast forward, evolving human benefactor that has many applications and uses in this modern day. Several artificial intelligences are manufactured and coded to work in a specific time frame, and intention of helping in curing many human abnormalities. These are even utilized in easing and relieving uncomfortable and painful conditions of the human body and mind. The operations of these special devices are specifically implemented and marketed in the global economy, in treating symptoms of some severe mental health disorders. Now we are going to delve into this dynamic application of artificial resources for the development and improvement of health and well being. VR and AR offer significant potential for the future of various industries such as gaming, marketing, e-commerce, and education, providing enhanced experiences by blending virtual and real-world elements with advanced 3-D visuals.

Virtual Reality is a phenomenal marvel designed to articulate and produce the effect similar to living in a stimulation, far from reality. It teleports the person from their true reality to a far fetched, desirable reality with a three dimensional, generated dynamic direction-depth oriented environment, immersed in this imaginary perception. The person is required to wear the VR headset that tracks their head movements, and accordingly display a virtual habitat. It is majorly used in architecture design, tourism, entertainment, industrial blueprints, space exploration, real estate and sports training (Sutton J, 2020).

Augmented Reality is a strategically framed computer technology that overlays the digital and technical computerized information to the real world. This unique ability of projection and directing perception of the individuals is different from VR as it engages in enhancing a person’s social and interactive tendencies with their external surroundings. It has a wide range of uses in devices such as smartphones, navigation, education, and gaming that can contribute a great amount of marketing and exporting these resources for availability and usage in mental health. It usually exists in regards to Information, spanning many sensations such as visual, aural, haptic, and somatosensory in context to GPS, movements, and environments.

Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) are immersive technologies transforming how we perceive and interact with the digital world. VR creates a simulated environment, transporting users to a computer-generated reality. In contrast, AR overlays digital elements onto the real world. Both hold immense potential across diverse industries, revolutionizing experiences and enhancing engagement. These two advanced technologies are effectively intermediated to work with each other to be used in therapies and rehabilitation of people suffering with mental and physical health issues. Therapeutic technology can be competently used in Virtual Reality in various ways to treat mental and physical well being. It is used in exposure therapies by recreating subjective scenarios that trigger negative feelings of anxiety, avoidance, phobias etc based on their personal experiences in a controlled setting pertaining to the treatment purposes only. This gives the individuals an opportunity to overcome their fears and confront the situation, in a periodic and ascending progress of healing. This way the person is systematically desensitized towards the negative feelings and experiences.

Pain management is an important domain in which VR is used as a distractor for people going through painful medication procedures and recovery, by instigating calming and relaxing virtual environment. It is predominantly used in physical exercises as well to motivate the patients suffering from physical disabilities to exercise and consistently instill positivity through optimistic realities. It is used in stress reduction by promoting mindfulness and relaxing episodes, carefully guiding them to practice meditation, breathing exercises, etc, in serene backdrop. Cognitive rehabilitation is successfully done through designing realities in the form of games and exercises inducing cognitive functions and influence neurological conditions with supervised and tested, from expert therapists, and treat brain injuries.

Virtual Reality can further help in tackling Autism symptoms in autistic individuals by involving them in social interactions upgrading communication skills, through user friendly, social and predictable realities. Memory advancement is a vital component of applications in this hardware, for treating conditions that occur in older generations undergoing dementia, memory loss, etc .

Overall it’s a creative, alluring and enveloping experience that aids in compliance and constructive health states. Baseline it’s a tailored, versatile tool pragmatic for both professionals and people.
