Abstract

This chapter explores the multifaceted connection between the energy crisis and crisis management. The study highlights the connection between energy use and personal comfort and the diverse ways in which energy is used to suit human needs in a variety of contexts. The chapter examines the energy crisis and divides crisis management techniques into two categories: process-oriented and operation-oriented. After that, the chapter examines the pre-COVID energy structure, emphasizing its challenges and tendencies. The discussion centers on the effects of COVID-19 on the energy transition, specifically highlighting the financial consequences and disturbances in the worldwide supply chain. Plans for green stimulus programs and AI applications are among the post-pandemic energy transition strategies that are discussed.
