Abstract

Artificial intelligence, one of the significant developments of our era, has a profound impact on many areas. These new companions frequently encountered in our daily lives facilitate many aspects of our lives. However, beyond the conveniences they provide, they also affect our identity and personality. The impact of digital tools is particularly significant for 'digital natives,' who were born in the digital age and have grown up using them. It is more inevitable and crucial for them than for other individuals. Young people who lack sufficient life experience and have not had enough human-to-human interaction may develop a communication pattern devoid of emotions and empathy by transitioning to human-machine experiences. This could have a profound impact on both individuals and society. Rather than creating machines that think and feel like humans, we may end up with humans who think and live like machines. This study examines the effects of artificial intelligence on human interaction, identity, and personality.
