4. Methodology

For this bibliometric study, the Scopus database was chosen as the primary source of data retrieval. The search was conducted using specific keywords to ensure the inclusion of relevant publications. The keywords used for the Boolean search included “AI” OR “Artificial Intelligence” OR “Generative AI” OR “Generative Artificial Intelligence” AND “Pharmaceutical Industry” OR “Pharma Industry” OR “Pharmaceutical Companies” OR “Pharma companies”. These keywords were selected to capture a wide range of articles related to AI in the pharmaceutical industry as of 6th June 2023.
