Introduction

“Instead of rushing unconsciously into your day set aside a few minutes to sit quietly with yourself. Make sure you are calm, centred with your intention for the day. This way you are prepared for a harmonious positive experience”

The virus outbreak is the utmost recent massive worldwide crisis of heath and continually expanding virus. In footings of wide-reaching analysis, the contemporary virus has surpassed previous pandemics. This marks the first time that the entire universe has been touched at the same moment severely in a very short period of time. Due to the high mortality rate of COVID-19 and accompanying issues such as fiscal instability, employment uncertainty, anxiety, this novel virus sickness is terrifying and distressing for the whole world. Equally the virus and its comprehensive consequences continue to reveal internationally and in our communal, it is natural for individuals to have a varied array of views, emotions, and responses. We have to recognise that the virus is more than simply a medical concern; it also has a societal, behavioral, and cognitive effect on individuals. Anxiety, sleep issues, fear and other sorts of psychiatric illness are linked to being isolated and wearing masks. Many learners face psychological challenges as a result of the pandemic's expansion, which impacted their grades as well as their whole disposition. Nations all over the world put draconian controls on their residents in an attempt to limit the spread. The government switched its offline educational system to e-learning, closing public gathering locations and imposing travel restrictions. The most distressing component is quarantine. Living under quarantine, commonly referred as lockdown, can also have serious mental consequences for everyone. The effects of quarantine on three elements of mental health are significant: individuality, competency and connectivity. Every problem is being dominated by stress.

Stress, according to Hans Selye, is “the nonspecific response of the body to any demand”. Everyone is subjected to stress at a certain point in their lives. “Stress as a scientific concept suffers the problem of being too widely known and too poorly understood,” stated Hans Selye, a physicist who popularised the conception of stress. Regardless of being one of the utmost ubiquitous experiences of human, stress is astonishingly challenging to quantify. Stress, in accordance to scientists, “is a force or event that disrupts normal stability, equilibrium, or functioning”. In today's world, stress has become an intrinsic element of lifespan, it affects individuals of all ages and is no longer constrained to adults. COVID 19s contribute to higher learner stress. Beyond an uncertainty, the most frequently stated barrier to academic performance is stress. Some sorts of distress can actually be good for our health since they sharpen our thoughts and reflexes and push us to grow and progress. But when stress persists for an extended duration, it can become a burden or even a health concern.

Thus, the primary goal of this paper is to highpoint the stress levels among learners and to determine the way outs in order to manage stress among learners during pandemic in order to make learning effective.
