Abstract

The focal point of this chapter is the concept of organizational culture and the analysis of various factors that correlate organizational culture to organizational performance, especially in the working environment of educational institutions. Each factor impacts an employee, a teacher in our case, in terms of effectiveness and satisfaction. The way these factors come together and affect a teacher's performance, which is the learning outcome of students, is of high significance. This chapter also throws light on the literature based on organizational culture. Through a survey, the influence of the working environment on an employee has also been examined in this chapter.
