Abstract

In order to highlight risk factors of well-being among students in higher education institutions, such as stress, anxiety, and depression (SAD), transition to university, excessive parental control, autism, inadequate social problem-solving skill, negative self-perception/inferiority complex, loneliness and paranoia, thematic review of the literature employed the theoretical framework based on Centeredness theory. In addition to mental health detioration, risk factors exacerbate the inability of students to maintain their resilience in the face of adversity. A variety of well-being dimensions were also examined in the review, eudaimonia, non-eudaimonic objective list well-being, life satisfaction, desire fulfilment, hedonic well-being, and eudaimonia.
