Abstract

This study aims to explore how educational video integrated with Weibo can enhance secondary school students' knowledge and understanding of cyberbullying. Utilizing a quantitative research methodology, students were assessed with the cyberbullying knowledge and awareness test (CKAT) before and after the educational video intervention. The results indicate a significant improvement in students' knowledge and understanding of cyberbullying after viewing the video, albeit with gender differences, including evidence of correlation between knowledge and awareness of cyberbullying. This research underscores the importance of education in preventing and addressing societal issues like cyberbullying and provides suggestions for future research. Overall, the integration of educational videos with Weibo proves effective in boosting students' knowledge and understanding of cyberbullying, offering valuable insights for educators and future research.
