Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has rapidly advanced in recent years, poised to revolutionize various aspects of human life. Despite its potential, many educators are unaware of its broad impact. However, AI integration in education is expanding, aiming to improve teaching and learning quality through diverse methodologies leveraging data analytics and machine learning. This study explored AI's role in massive open online courses (MOOCs) using a bibliometric approach applied to Scopus databases from 2012 to 2024, analyzing 366 articles. While interest in the topic is growing, the literature remains in its early stages. Meanwhile, in business, the influence of basic sciences is often overlooked, yet they provide the foundation for innovation. Integrating these principles into business strategies uncovers new growth paths and fosters a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and innovation. This integration drives technological progress and inspires innovation in supply chain optimization and healthcare solutions.
