Abstract

Over the past 20 years, healthcare industries have witnessed a paradigm shift. The use of sensors and IoT-enabled devices for real-time patient monitoring and analysis has greatly simplified the process of determining the investigative criteria. Even while many medical sectors have embraced technology, there are still a lot of issues that remain to be solved. In order to improve health record security and enable access only by authorized individuals, this proposed system combines blockchain technology, IoMT, and electronic health records. A four-layer internet of medical things architecture is designed to guarantee the accuracy of data gathered from healthcare devices and sensors. It is determined that the block size of the hyperledger sawtooth system affects the throughput and latency results across a range of system operations after a series of performance tests over a basic setup of the system and an analysis over the data acquired from those tests.
