Abstract

This study intends to analyze the institutional change and its implications with other instrumental variables. The analysis departs from the theoretical assumption that the empirical analysis of the objects of study of institutional variables have different impact on the results of actions to achieve successful change in institutions. The method employed is sustained by the analytical meta-cognitive and reflection based on the conceptual, theoretical, and empirical review of the literature. It is concluded that despite the structural tensions of institutional settings, the strategic interplay among the different institutional variables provides legitimacy to institutional change and stability, more than institutional theoretical frameworks.
