Abstract

In today's modern world, new things are determined for the generations of industry, especially Industry 6.0. The industrial revolutions are the key factors in changing and transforming the conditions for society. Industrial revolution, society, marketing, and factories have their generations. Time determines the new and old generations. Also, in this chapter, the conceptual framework explores the evolution of smart factories into the next phase, which is called Smart Factory 6.0. Integrating cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies can be one of the most important facets of this title. The new technologies can be artificial intelligence, the internet of things, and machine learning. All the new technologies in the chapter can help provide structure of papers. The proposed framework aims to enhance manufacturing efficiency, agility, and adaptability. By elucidating key components (e.g., intelligent automation, and digital twins), this framework provides a roadmap for organizations seeking to leverage the transformative potential of Smart Factory 6.0 in the contemporary industrial landscape.

1. Introduction

As a traditional insight, the process of production is managed by the factories in their way. Additionally, not only the process is changed but precisely also, the whole policy of factories can change. The previous generation of factories provides the previous generation of production. It is obvious that the more implementation of factories, the more use of production will happen. Smart factories emphasize data privacy and security, workforce training, intellectual property rights, and collaboration and partnership.

Passing time builds new or old generations and the new generations will build new concepts for the world in the future. New generations of every concept can automatically generate other new concepts. There is a trend of emerging new concepts in Industry Revolution and marketing. Also, technology can help the process of updating and can be a strong initiator in this field. Smart technology can make a different and new process in the factories. The process will also be easier in the whole world of industry by applying new technologies. Furthermore, technology should be transformed into a new path. As an attractive insight, smart people make smart cities (Kannan et al., 2024). Also, smart factories will appear after all this progress with the help of intelligence.

There is a collaboration between Industry 4.0 technologies and smart supply. As a practical insight, examining patterns in Supply Chain 4.0 and its implementation within the wood construction sector can be an example (Gharaibeh et al., 2024). On one hand, Industry 4.0 technologies can help the process of production. There are tools (e.g., AI, IoT, blockchain, and big data) in the structure of cutting-edge technologies that can be effective in updating production systems. By updating the production systems of factories, the whole production lines of smart factories will be transformed into a modern flow. On the other hand, there is smart supply in the factories. When advanced technologies are applied in the supply chain process, the whole chain of production will transform in a way that the top management will be fully satisfied with.

In addition, security and privacy will be performed better. The reason is about the accuracy of new technologies. Meanwhile, Industry 5.0 has some effects on the sixth generation of the industry. Moreover, Industry 5.0 is characterized by three significant attributes, namely, a focus on human-centricity, sustainability, and resiliency (Huang et al., 2022). In the results of the stated paragraphs, Industry 6.0 will emerge all around the world. it signifies the subsequent stage of industrial development. It entails the amalgamation of cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence, robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics (BDA), and automation into the realm of manufacturing and production processes

Smart Factory 6.0 will be at the final layer of this story. It helps to level up the obstacles of setup in all the factories to increase efficiency, productivity, and adaptability. The primary goal of Smart Factory 6.0 is to establish connected and smart manufacturing conditions where machines, systems, and humans can collaborate truly. Also, Cobots can strongly help workers in factories too. Cobots, also referred to as collaborative robots, are a distinct category of robotic systems that have advanced to function alongside both humans and workers. Smart manufacturing is where cobots work alongside humans (Wang et al., 2024) and They can engage more and more in the whole process of the production system and they can have a role in the implementation and setup of the systems that create and increase the production line. In summary, the integration of digital technologies and automation helps to facilitate operation management.

In Fig. 1, the smart transformation is presented for readers. By observing this, it can easily understand what story is in the background of the smart factory 6.0.
