Durmuş Günay graduated bachelor from Istanbul Technical University. He became a Mechanical Engineer in 1976. In 1987-2000, he worked at Sakarya, ITU Sakarya Engineering Faculty and Sakarya University. In 1999, he became a professor at Zonguldak Karaelmas University. In addition to being a faculty member, he worked as Minister Advisor in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in 2003-2006 and in the Ministry of Transport in 2006-2008. He was appointed as a member of YÖK on February 5, 2008 and was elected as a member of YÖK Executive Board on March 13, 2008 and still continues the same duties. He was also appointed as a member of YÖK on February 6, 2012. He is married and has four children. He was also re-elected as a member of the Executive Board. He is currently working as a lecturer at Maltepe University.
Tuncer Asunakutlu is currently the Vice Rector of Bakircay University, Turkey. After completing his Ph.D. in 1997 at Dokuz Eylül University/Hamburg University with DAAD and KAS Scholarship, he became an Associate Professor in 2005 and a Professor in 2011. He served as an advisor to Ministry of Health between 2003-2007, with particular interest to quality and accreditation issues as part of the large scale health services transformation program, where he was also involved in a World Bank Project. He also worked as Project Assessor within Regional Development Program of European Union. He participated in several EU funded Lifelong Learning Projects (LLP). He has been to Germany as postdoc researcher and to USA as visiting Professor. He worked as Deputy Dean, Acting Dean, Secretary General, Head of Distance Education Centre in Mugla Sitki Kocman University and as Dean of School of Business in Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University. Professor Asunakutlu has two books and several articles published in national and international journals in the area of management with particular interest to leadership, health management and quality management.
Orkun Yildiz earned his Post-doctorate Degree in technology management from the Hamburg University of Technology in Germany, his PhD in business sciences (major MIS) from Gazi University, his Master’s in business administration from Suleyman Demirel University, and his Bachelor’s degree from business administration from Suleyman Demirel University in Turkey. He is interested in academic topics such as business models, digital transformation, human-computer interaction, innovation, and technology management. He has been on the editorial board of various academic journals in the field of management information systems (MIS). These journals are Organizational and End-user Computing (SSCI), Journal of Global Information Systems (SSCI), The Service Industries Journal (SSCI), Neural Computing and Applications Journal (SSCI-E), Australasian Journal of Information Systems (ESCI), Journal of Hospitality and Technology (ESCI), International Journal of e-business (ESCI), International Journal of e-adoption (Scopus), International Journal of Innovation and Technology (Scopus), Theoretical Economics Letters (EconLit), and Journal of Management & Production. Additionally, he has served as a referee on the conferences such as the European Conference of Information Systems (ECIS) 2018 (Portsmouth, UK). Currently, he works as an assistant professor in the MIS department at Izmir Democracy University (Turkey), where he teaches MIS related courses and conducts research.
