Editor/Author Biographies
Josef B. Flizikowski is full Professor at Department of Technical Systems and Environmental Protections Faculty of Mechanical Engineering University Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz (Poland). He took Ph.D. degree at Polytechnic of Gdansk in Gear Design and Advanced Systems, habilitates degree at University of Agriculture in Lublin: Energy, Food Machinery and Systems. His academic researches principally deal with the development of innovative energy machinery solutions, optimizations, quality of product and effectiveness of energy processes in environment. Several solutions have been presented in 280 publication, 15 books (in Polish, German and English) and test by Ph.D. – promotions, industry innovations and in polymodaly Vehicles. Moreover, he has developed coordination approaches in multi-plant renewable energy sources production planning and active monitoring in flexible and reconfigurable technical systems.
Kazimierz S. Bielinski is an Assistant Professor at Department of Telecommunications and Electrical Engineering at University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz (Poland). He has completed the higher education studies and earned his M.Sc. Eng. Degree in the specialization of processing and usage of electric energy. He has received Ph.D degree in research on power efficiency of seed multidisc mill at Polytechnic of Lublin. His professional experience covers designing and implementing technological and IT solutions for monitoring, controlling and optimizations that are essential for energy management. He has published results of his researches on active monitoring, raising level of energy efficiency and electric power security of technical systems, in over 50 publications and 7 books, being their author or co-author (in Polish and English).
