Description & Coverage
Description:

This book fosters the international understanding about multidimensional determinants and outcomes of online risk behaviors among school and university students. Within this context, it could be explained if and how different factors (e.g., social-emotional, personality, school-related, peer-related family-related) can influence or be influenced by students' online risk behaviors in different developmental periods (e.g., school age, adolescence, emerging adulthood). At the same time, the book proposal focuses on prevention programs/actions aimed to promote a safe online culture both in the school and university community. In this way, differentiated effective parameters could be highlighted for the prevention of online risk behaviors in different educational contexts. All the above topics can be enlightened within research community, through empirical, theoretical or methodological papers following a quantitative or a qualitative approach. The book can be used as basic or complementary study material in Editors' undergraduate or postgraduate courses in the fields of Educational/School Psychology and Media Literacy.
