Description & Coverage
Description:

It is now taken for granted that everyone thinks that inter-professional collaboration (IPC) , so-called, “team-based healthcare” is an inevitable practice. However, until now, no one had a way of knowing what made team-based healthcare efficient and how team-based healthcare was completed. The challenge for our research team was how to pursue the efficiency of teamwork and how to visualize the results. Improving the quality and safety of medical care is a universal issue in any society. WHO also suggests that ensuring safety through team collaboration is an important challenge. This book attempts to visualize the actual state of multi-professional collaboration(IPC=Inter-professional-collaboration) in healthcare by making full use of existing indicators, established and proven metrics, and to clarify its specific content of IPC.
