Aviation, currently serving as a Visiting Researcher at Nanyang Technological University,
Singapore, and as a Senior Manager (ATM) at the Civil Aviation Research Organization in
India. His educational journey includes a Doctorate of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering
and Electronics & Communication Engineering from the Institute of Engineering &
Technology, Lucknow, India, alongside a Master of Technology in Electrical Engineering from
MMM Engineering College, India, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics &
Telecommunication Engineering from S.E.S. College of Engineering, India.
With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Khalid has demonstrated expertise in a diverse
range of fields. His roles have varied from a Senior Manager (ATM) at several international
airports in India to an academician, where he served as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer at
various engineering colleges. His research interests and areas of expertise include the
development of control optimization algorithms, machine learning, sustainable energy
innovation, and a strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++,
MATLAB, and P-Spice, as well as skills in technical and patent writing, and project
management.
Dr. Khalid's exceptional contributions to his fields of study have earned him numerous
accolades, including the Excellence in Innovation at International Research Awards in 2023,
the Best Researcher Award at various international platforms from 2020 to 2023, the
Outstanding Scientist Award in 2020 and 2021, and the Best Paper Award at the National
Conference on Technological Revolution in Electrical Engineering in 2014. He also received
special recognition for his handling of the crash of Air India Express 812 in 2010.
