The current competitors are outdated or narrow in focus, thus losing the opportunity to reach a comprehensive audience. In fact, there are only TWO books on this content. As institutions start to catch on that there is a growing interest in learning about and working within conservation law, the need for a book that offers not only a historical approach, but information that allows for practical implication in the work realm also grows. As such, this book seeks to fill the void while also expanding the ability for criminal justice programs to incorporate courses into their curriculum more seamlessly.
In addition to being a more current book, we provide readers with an interdisciplinary approach to the field. It does not focus solely on just one aspect of conservation law, but rather covers a wide facet of topics within conservation law ranging from history through changes over the years ending with employment opportunities.
