Editor/Author Biographies
Prof. Dr. Seda Yıldırım currently works at Tekirdag Namık Kemal University in Turkey. She studies on sustainable development, 2030 sustainable development goals, sustainable consumption patterns, Islamic finance and banking, consumption patterns, environmental quality and food security. In 2022 she won an Emerald Literati Award for Outstanding Paper. She is married and has two children.
Durmus Cagrı Yıldırım currently works at Tekirdag Namık Kemal University in Turkey. He has a doctoral degree (PhD) in economics. He has many publications in journals indexed by Web of Science (SSCI, SCI-Exp, ESCI and others) and SCOPUS. He published several book and book chapters in IGI Global publishing. He won Emerald literati award-Outstanding Paper award 2022. He studies on macroeconomics, energy, food security, sustainable development and econometric analysis. He is a chief editor in JOEEP (Journal of Emerging Economies and Policy) and RESP (Journal of Recycling Economy & Sustainability Policy) in Turkey.
Işıl Demirtaş is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Giresun University. She earned her Ph.D. in Economic Policy from Marmara University in 2015. Additionally, she received a scholarship from TUBITAK and worked as a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan from October 2016 to September 2017. Her research interests include energy economics, economic policy, the green economy, and sustainable development.
Vinay Kandpal (Post doc and Ph.D. in Finance) possesses over 18 years of experience in Academics and Industry. He has published more than 60 research papers in leading refereed Journals. Published 6 books in the area of Management. He has presented several works at International Conferences on Smart City at The University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, France, and Oxford Brookes University, UK. He has also presented research works in institutions like IIM A, IIM B, IIM I, IIT Delhi, etc. He is a Full-Time Member of ANAHEI Florida, USA. He works as a Professor in Department of Management Studies, Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He is on the Editorial and Reviewer Board of Heliyon Business and Economics, Qualitative Research in Financial Market, Annals of Public and Cooperative Economics, International Review of Economics and Finance, World Development Perspective, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Public Affairs, etc. His area of research is Sustainability, Fintech, Smart City, Risk Management, and Financial Inclusion.
