Editor/Author Biographies
Vasilii Erokhin, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at Moscow University of Finance and Law MFUA, Business School, Department of Management and Marketing. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Economic and Management (2006). He holds a Specialist degree in International Economics (2003) from Stavropol State Agrarian University, Russia. His spheres of research interests: international trade in agricultural commodities, international trade and economic integration, sustainable development of trade, agricultural production and rural territories in the conditions of growing globalization, food and economic security, activities of the World Trade Organization, and regional development. Vasilii Erokhin is an author of over 140 scientific works in international economics, international trade, sustainable rural development and regionalization, including 6 books, 10 monographs, over 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals and proceedings (the USA, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine). He is also an author of the Series “International Trade from a Russian Perspective”, published online by Henry Stewart Talks Ltd, London. Vasilii Erokhin is a member of the editorial review boards of International Journal of Sustainable Economies Management (IJSEM) and Economics of Agriculture (Ekonomika poljoprivrede). He is a holder of the honorary awards from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation (2010), Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (2012). Vasilii Erokhin is a coordinator of international academic and research projects: 1. Tempus Tacis JEP 23178-2002 “Internationalization of Economic Education at Stavropol State Agrarian University” (2003-2006). 2. Tempus Tacis JEP-23199-2002 “Academic Network for Agricultural Extension in the Russian Federation” (2003-2005). 3. “Distance learning in education: development of the consortium on regional distance learning for the specialists in high education and agribusiness in the South Russia” (2006-2008). 4. ERASMUS MUNDUS External Cooperation Window “International Academic Mobility Network with Russia” (2007-2012). 5. 159311-TEMPUS-IT-TEMPUS-JPCR “Network for Master Training in Technologies of Water Resources Management – NetWater” (2009-2013). 6. 159357-TEMPUS-DE-TEMPUS-JPHES “Vocational Training in Rural Development and Ecology – RUDECO” (2009-2012). 7. MBA program in Agribusiness (2011-2012). 8. Double Degree MBA program in International Management (2013-2014). He is a winner of the 3rd All-Russian competition of business ideas and projects “Creation of Future Russia”, project “Efficiency increasing of the regional entrepreneurship in the conditions of the World Trade Organization accession” and a scholarship holder of the Vladimir Potanin’s Charity Fund among young teachers (2009).
