Editor/Author Biographies
Lawrence A. Tomei is the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Professor of Education at Robert Morris University, Pittsburgh, PA. Born in Akron, Ohio, he earned a BSBA from the University of Akron (1972). He entered the US Air Force in September 1972 and served on active duty for 22 years until his retirement as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1994. He directs academic services including the registrar’s office, academic technology, the honors education programs, student engaged learning programs, and the Center for Innovative Teaching and Directed Engaged Learning. He teaches graduate and doctoral courses in learning theories, instructional technology, and higher education teaching. He has published numerous articles and books on instructional technology and educational psychology.
