1. Book introduction

This book entitled Differentiated Instruction, Equity, and Inclusion in English Language Education addresses multidimensional issues in the realm of English language education such as differentiated instruction, equity, inclusion, individualization, assessment, material design, identity, etc. This book is a collection of works featuring key concepts and emergent issues which reflect the current research trends and issues and cutting-edge research methodologies. 2. Aims

This book aims to present diverse phenomena on differentiated instruction, equity, inclusion in the multifaceted contexts of English language education and provide innovative theoretical frameworks and up-to-date research findings on how to deal with equity and inclusion and maximize learners’ potentials in English language learning. Additionally, it features multidimensional issues on how to approach learners as singular individuals and collectives in the English language learning process and enhance individual competencies.

Editor/Author Biographies
Dr. Thao Quoc Tran is currently working at HUTECH University, Vietnam. He has been teaching English for more than 20 years, and he is experienced in teaching English to both local and international students. His research areas are English language teaching methodology, English language skills, teacher professional development and discourse analysis.
Tham My Duong is Vice Dean of the Faculty of English at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF). Her academic areas of interest predominantly lie in content and language integrated learning (CLIL), project-based learning (PBL), task-based language teaching (TBLT), English language teaching (ELT), language skills, language learning strategies, and learner autonomy.
