Dr. Mkpoikanke Otu is an outstanding educator and certified counselling psychologist at the University of Nigeria Nsukka. His research focuses on the interconnectedness of spirituality and psychology in counselling. Dr. Otu is committed to the development and deployment of scalable treatment and coaching packages for youth, which aim to assist them in achieving their career goals, empowering themselves, becoming entrepreneurs, and taking control of their mental health. As an educator, Dr. Otu teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Nigeria Nsukka. He actively engages his students, fostering an interactive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and practical application of knowledge. In addition to classroom instruction, he also supervises student projects and theses, ensuring that students receive guidance and support throughout their research. As a counselling psychologist, Dr. Otu plays a significant role in supervising counselling internships. He closely monitors the progress of interns, providing them with constructive feedback and guidance as they develop their counseling skills. Dr. Otu also reviews thesis defenses both internally and externally, offering his expertise and insights into the quality and impact of student research. Beyond his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Otu is actively involved in various committees within the university. He contributes to the decision-making process, offering valuable insights and insights based on his expertise and knowledge. Maximus Monaheng Sefotho is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology (with a specialisation/focus on Career Guidance and Disability) at University of Johannesburg. His research and teaching work focus on Career Choice/Construction within the sphere of Contemporary Careers: Protean and Boundaryless as well as hephapreneurship (A concept he coined). Prof. Sefotho’s research emphasises career development and disability. Prof. Sefotho was also a research team leader from the University of Pretoria that conducted a study on visual impairment aimed at developing an Advanced Diploma in Visual Impairment Studies as well as co-editor of two books to be used in the program.
