Lighting Projection Design of Art Stage From Holographic Naked Eye 3D Perspective

Abstract

In today's modern environment, as an important part of stage art and performance, many places need to use stage lighting. Therefore, the correct use of stage lighting design is particularly important, and it is necessary to study the design of stage lighting. However, the traditional stage light projection is designed by the designer according to the understanding of music and music matching light projection. This scheme is easily influenced by the designer's subjective factors, which lack a clear and perfect design scheme. In this context, from the perspective of holographic naked eye 3D, this paper designs from the stage layout, utilization rate of lighting, the analysis of music features and the distribution of different colors, and evaluates the merits and disadvantages of music and light shows. This evaluation method can provide a design basis for the light projection in the design process of art stage and provide a scientific basis for the evaluation method of performance scheme. It can greatly reduce the design and debugging time of the scheme and save the design cost of the lighting projection.

Literature Review

Lighting is an important component of stage performance. Its purpose is not only to illuminate the stage but also, through the transformation of some lighting, achieve a certain degree of artistic effect (Yang et al., 2023). In the artistic performance of the stage, stage light can be used to match the plot, and new stage lighting can be designed according to the change of the space and time of the characters in the plot (Wang et al., 2023). Through these measures, stage lighting can not only bring the audience into the illusory environment but can also strengthen the appeal of the stage performance, creating a specific stage effect, so as to achieve a more dramatic artistic height (Li et al., 2021). In addition, stage lighting integrates with the audience's feelings, to achieve the artistic atmosphere required of the stage performance (Hou et al., 2023). The role of lighting in stage performance is multifaceted (Deyong, 2021). First, it plays the role of illuminating the stage, so that the audience can see the performance clearly. Secondly, it is often used to control the audience's mood and focus. It also shapes the image of the characters, according to the plot, and relays changes in the characters’ feelings (Guindy & Kara, 2024). Finally, it has the function of space cutting, creating the effect of artistic conception and illusion, showing the artistry of stage lighting (Feldzensztajn et al., 2021). Stage lighting is a huge system(Nakayama, 2020). In terms of the current lighting function and optical characteristics, stage lighting mainly includes certain aspects. These include stage astigmatism lighting lamps, the stage of spotlight lighting (Li et al., 2023), and the stage of special lighting lamps and lanterns. Each lighting variety can be further subdivided. For instance, stage lighting astigmatism lamps and lanterns provide the benefit of illuminating a large range of area (Yu et al., 2023), depending on the type, such as ceiling astigmatism lamps, lamp strips, etc. Spotlight lamps and lanterns on the stage are mainly used to highlight the characteristics of an object. Special lamps and lanterns of the stage are mainly used for projection of various lights and light image, such as stage slide and scan-type computer lights. In fact, the division of stage lamps and lanterns does not have a clear boundary. For example, stage imaging lamp lighting is characteristic of spotlights but can also reflect a variety of light graphics (Xia et al., 2023). No matter what kinds of stage lighting are present, stage lighting plays an important role in enhancing the artistic sense of stage design (Hua et al., 2023).

The early era of stage lighting was largely dependent on the development of photoelectric technology. Meanwhile, the evolution and reform of the stage scene prompted the development of more dynamic stage lighting, and the evolution and development of stage lighting also prompted the diversification of performance forms, to a certain extent. The 19th century saw great changes in lighting sources (Liu et al., 2024), and in fact, in the beginning of the 19th century, most Western countries began to use gas burning stage lighting systems (Siniscalco, 2022). This involved gas lamps that were generally installed in top, aside, and at foot light positions and were grouped so their intensity could be controlled by a centralized control console that allowed the gas flow to be adjusted as needed. In the mid-19th century, electricity become readily available. In the mid-20th century, the invention and use of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) laid a solid foundation for the control of stage lighting, marking a controllable new era in the industry. The invention of the computer provided more possibilities for stage lighting, as in the late 20th century, computer technology was applied to stage lighting and control systems. Designers provided more material foundations and creative inspiration, and lighting control systems became increasingly programmable with capabilities to store files.
