Abstract

SThe industry 4.0 possesses the intelligent network and interrelation with components of production systems and provides the feedback digitally across the industrial supply chain. In last decade, the growth of industry 4.0 research is expanded across industries i.e. steel, oil, electricity pulp and paper industry. Supply Chain 4.0 is the system of the Internet of Things (IoT), which explores the advanced flexible operations, smart supply chain network, and the enhances the utility of smart analytics of big data in SCM i.e., introducing the sensors, wiles less network throughout supply chain, build the networks, and automate operations to considerably improve the performance and customer’s satisfaction. In this research paper, a green supply chain 4.0 multi level hierarchical model is established by considering the eleven green practices. The model is assisted by in centre of Centroid Method for ranking industry 4.0 industrial practices. The results are exhibited in conclusion section.

1. Introduction

MCDM is the techniques and procedures, which concerns about multiple (contradictory) criterions can be legitimately included into the management planning practices. Classically, MCDM do not deliver a unique optimal solution for said problems as It is essential to utilize decision-makers’ (DMs) preferences to differentiate between solutions. MCDM is being applied to handle the real life problem, which requires the analyses of multiple criterions corresponding to choices. MCDM provides the ranking order vs. choices. Even now many techniques such MOORA, TOPSIS etc have been applied in realm of MCDM. These problems consist of a set of choices, clearly identified in the starting of the solution procedure. Each choice is characterized by its recital in numerous criterions. The problem may be cleared as finding the supreme choice for the decision-making cluster, or judgment of a set of suitable choices. One may also be involved in ‘sorting’ choices.

In today’s era, industry 4.0 is known as the digital transformation of information across industrial chain. Industry 4.0 is tangible and intended to the technologies and processes. Industry 4.0 deals with several sub sets i.e. Water, Energy, ERP, MES, Plant Control etc, as channel of digital transformation called as IoT. Recently, the growing business of IoT covered up the steel, oil, electricity pulp and paper industries.

Industry 4.0 Supply Chain Management (SCM) is described as the procedure of planning and executing, managing the supply chain by technological architectures. Industry 4.0 Supply Chain Management (SCM) involves the controlling of finished products from the source of origin the consumption level. I4-SC is a system of business that are involved, through upstream and downstream connection, in the dissimilar procedure and actions, which create worth in the term of goods and services in the hands of the final purchasers. In I4-SC, the Performance Measurement (PM) materializes the efficiency and effectiveness of technological architectures against I4 practices. Performance measurement explains the reaction or information vs. technological architectures. It reveals the need for augmenting in part of unacceptable performance of technological architectures. By using of performance measurement tool, the efficiency and quality of firm’s supply chain technological architectures can be escalated.

Industry 4.0 performance measurement is counted as vital constituent of effective forecast and controlling as well as decision making. It provides essential criticisms or cloud and big data information to expose growth, augment in enthusiasm and identify technological architecture problems in industry 4.0 domain. I4-Performance measurement is consider as a part of advanced methods, digital metrics and digital technological based systems, used in industry to get better financial and operations. I4-performance reflects the tactical, incorporated development of commerce cleverness to hold up the organization courses. I4-Performance is considered as rigorous procedure of materializing the efficiency and effectiveness of industry 4.0 architectures.

1.1. Industry 4.0 Supply Chain Performances Measurement

I4-meauring the performance of individual or preferred firm under actions/industry 4.0 architectures of SC has become the prominent task. MCDM (Multi Criterion Decision Making) realm effectively overcame managers’ implications and aids them for measuring the performances of their firms under SC actions.

The performance measurement split up into two types:

  • 1.

    Quantitative measurement

  • 2.

    Qualitative measurement

The quantitative measurement dealt with defined or crisp value, which is associated with non-partial information (criterion information). Quantitative measurement delivers the accurate result. As, the appropriateness ratings and importance weights are assigned in the forms of crisp value against criterion (consist of criterion wear certain information).
