The accelerated transformations that have occurred in recent decades have influenced technological and scientific development on a large scale. In this dynamic, a constant motivation for innovative alternatives emerges, introducing new technologies and modifying the market in certain ways such as services, labor relations, digital economy, among others (Graham et al., 2017; Satalkina & Steiner, 2020). With the advent of information technologies, there have been drastic changes in all industrial fields, changing the globalized production process. This set of changes establishes a new paradigm called the knowledge economy, in which knowledge is valued in the organizational dynamics aiming at the sustainability of organizations (Rezny et al., 2019).
