Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology, the storage and management of library archives and books must meet the needs of readers. In this process, people's demands for various knowledge and information are increasingly diversified, and realizing the personalized service of library archives has become a better solution. At the same time, there are certain connections between various books, which is the basis for providing personalized services for readers. Through the performance test of the library archives information management system, it showed that all the performance indicators of the system met the required functional requirements. When the number of clients was 50, the memory utilization rate was 25.56%; the number of records was 428, and the average response time was 1058ms. Therefore, it is very necessary to use artificial intelligence technology and multimedia technology to design and build archive information management systems.

Introduction

With the rapid development of computer technology and information technology, the working methods in the traditional production, life and service fields have changed, whilst the work efficiency has been significantly improved. The archives of academic libraries in China have realized the automation of book management, that is, the purchase, use, cataloguing and management of books. However, these improvements are based on a fast and efficient working process. The current problem faced by library archives is how to provide personalized services for readers, which requires intelligent processing of books' information. It is very meaningful to apply artificial intelligence technology to library archives management to assist the managers in decision-making. Through the analysis of massive data, we can obtain the current management status of library archives. Compared with traditional statistical methods, it is objective and true, which helps decision-makers make correct decisions and improve the operating efficiency of library archives.

The archives informatization of library archives has been one of the hot topics in the current literary field. Wu I-Chin collected information about cultural heritage in the digital archive system of the library and opened it to the public. It was clarified to what extent the search behaviour has cultivated the users' knowledge of painting and calligraphy (Chin, Huang & Pertti, 2021). Roe Brent C introduced his work experience in the library and archives of Lawrence University in the case of the COVID-19 outbreak to the librarian of Lawrence University in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada (Roe, 2020). Based on his experience as a manuscript administrator in the archives of the now disbanded Lutheran Theological Research Institute Library, Garaba Francis studied the information management of library archives (Garaba, 2018). Based on a study to assess whether the digital team of the African National Congress has the ability to implement digital projects, Netshakhuma Sidney’s results showed that archivists have not received training in digital archive systems (Gupta & Gupta, 2022). He also relied on donations from Multichoice and African media online to develop digital infrastructure (Netshakhuma, 2018). However, the aformentioned research is only in the theoretical stage and has no practicality due to the lack of data sources and backward collection technology.

Designing and constructing the library archives management system using human resources technology is innovative. To promote the digital and electronic development of library archives better, XieWeiguo first analyzed the management needs of library archives, and constructed a management model based on electronic technology. He also analysed the management measures of electronic library archives for reference (Xie & Song, 2022). Al-Mutawa Maryam Ahmed proposed that Qatar Digital Library Archives is a cooperative project between the Qatar Foundation and the British Library Archives, which aimed to establish an open access digital archive to benefit people around the world (Al-Mutawa, 2019). Kurniawan Aditya Asep developed an application called SubangLarang for the archives and archives of Karawang Library for digital archives management (Kurniawan, Aji, & Dini, 2022). Muhammad Mukmin aimed to provide high-quality libraries and archives for local public services in Sopen County, and exert efforts to improve the public services provided by library archives and archives in Sopen County (Muhammad, 2022). However, due to the traditional thinking and definition, the aforementioned research cannot be highly integrated and give full play to its advantages.
