Abstract

In the current context of sustainable development and environmental protection issues, enterprises are paying more and more attention to green technology innovation. For this purpose, we introduced a composite neural network model, including the Siamese Network, Temporal Convolutional Networks (TCN) and Random Forests technology. First, the Siamese Network is used to measure the green technology investment similarities between enterprises to better understand the connections between them. Second, Temporal Convolutional Networks (TCN) are applied to process time series data to capture the time evolution trend of green technology investment. Finally, we use Random Forests technology to integrate the output of the Siamese Network and TCN to classify enterprises. Experimental results show that our method is effective in green technology investment classification and financial performance prediction, can more accurately assess the financial performance of enterprises, and can also help enterprises better understand the effects of their green technology investments.

Green Technology Innovation

Green technology innovation has always been one of the focuses of global attention. As environmental protection and sustainable development issues continue to heat up, the demand for green technology is also growing. Over the past few decades, significant progress has been made in the field of green technology innovation, which has not only improved environmental quality but also brought huge business opportunities to enterprises. Green technology innovation can be traced back to the early 20th century, but it has experienced explosive growth in the past few decades. Research and practice in this field already cover a number of key areas, including renewable energy, clean production technologies, environmentally friendly materials, and sustainable urban planning. For example, the rapid development of solar and wind energy technologies has made renewable energy an important force in the energy industry, not only helping to reduce carbon emissions but also providing businesses and consumers with more affordable energy options.

Current green technology innovations are making breakthroughs. In the renewable energy sector, new solar cells and efficient wind turbines are emerging, making energy production more efficient and sustainable. Cleaner production technology has also achieved great success in the industrial field, reducing waste and pollutant emissions during the production process. In addition, the research and development and widespread application of green materials also help improve the life cycle environmental performance of products.

However, the field of green technology innovation still faces some important issues and challenges. First, the cost of many green technologies is still relatively high, which limits their popularity and application in the market. Reducing costs and improving the economic feasibility of the technology is an urgent task. Second, the sustainability and environmental impacts of green technologies require more comprehensive assessment and management to ensure that they truly achieve the goals of sustainable development. Third, different countries and regions have different policies and regulations for green technology innovation, which requires more international cooperation and standardization.

Globally, green technology innovation is considered one of the important ways to address global challenges such as climate change and environmental pollution. Not only does it help reduce dependence on limited natural resources, it also creates new jobs and business models. At the same time, the continuous innovation of green technology also promotes progress in the fields of scientific research and engineering, providing a solid foundation for future sustainable development.
