Literature Review

With the continuous progress of the social economy and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the requirements for the quality of life are constantly improving, and the standard of home furnishing is rising (Khurshid et al., 2023). It is precisely because of these high standards that the effective application and further upgrading of automation control and information technology are promoted (Tyagi et al., 2023). Enterprises producing smart home products have many such products on the market (Liu et al., 2023). Originating from market demand, the smart switch products produced by various merchants have a wide variety of styles. The addition of internet giants has injected new vitality into the market of smart home products, and at the same time has intensified the competition. People's pursuit of the life concept of smart home has created a huge imagination space for the research and development of smart home products and has opened up a broad market for them.

As the development of the traditional home furnishing industry has entered a bottleneck period (Srinadi et al., 2023), the emergence of smart homes has not only improved the service performance of home furnishing products but has also enriched the product structure of the overall home furnishing industry, bringing new hope and vitality to the development of the industry (Negm, 2023). In terms of trends, smart home will be a new force that promotes the vigorous development of the home furnishing industry (Nofrialdi et al., 2023).

The smart home industry in China started late, and there is a big gap between it and developed countries in the West. But with the continuous progress of the smart home industry in China, this gap is constantly decreasing. The smart home in China started in 2005, but it has shown a rapid development trend in just a few years. Of course, this is also due to the rapid rise of the real estate industry (Novak & Hoffman, 2023). The development of high-end residences introduces the design concept of smart homes and smart home systems (Al-Taai et al., 2023). They are sold together as the supporting facilities of the residence (Bhat et al., 2023). This promotion method must be a win-win for real estate and smart home businesses. In addition to taking advantage of the development of the real estate industry, the popularization and application of network information, wireless information, triple play, and the Internet of Things also provide a good opportunity for the rapid development of smart homes (Chong et al., 2023). The concept of IoT (Almotairi, 2023) set off another wave of the information industry following the great development of computers, the internet, and mobile communication networks (Subhan et al., 2023). It has entered the market, which not only intensifies market competition but also brings advanced management concepts and technologies to local enterprises (Ahmed & Khan, 2023).

The emergence of IoT has revolutionized the concept of smart homes, leading to the development of intelligent home control systems. Cherniaieva et al. (2023) introduced a new intelligent home control system that utilizes an Android phone as a temporary home gateway, reducing the constant working hours of traditional gateways. This shift toward intelligent home systems is further supported by Taherdoost (2023), who designed an integrated platform for monitoring and controlling household appliances using internetworking technologies and ZigBee wireless sensor networks. Andronie et al. (2023) proposed an early warning system for in-home healthcare using IoT technology, allowing for remote monitoring of patients' vital signs and activities. This highlights the potential for IoT to enhance healthcare services beyond traditional hospital settings. Similarly, Ghiasi et al. (2023) developed a dynamic distributed energy management algorithm for home sensor networks, emphasizing the importance of efficient energy usage in home automation systems.
