Abstract

Cloud Computing Environment (CCE) is a newly rudimentary knowledge in the IT industry. Central to these problems lies in the establishment of an active LB algorithm. The network load can be CPU load, memory limit, postponement, or system load. In the proposed algorithm, Load Balancing (LB) done by considering priority policy. An Efficient and Dynamic Load Balancing Approach in Cloud Computing (EDBA-CC) proposed, and the related algorithm executed on CloudSim (CS). A resource allocation approach that takes into account Resource Utilization (RU) would lead to better energy efficiency. The outcomes indicate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. The outcomes exhibited that the EDBA-CC algorithm reduced Response Time (RT). The decreasing in RT is about 2.23 ms when the instruction length was 275 Byte, and the decreasing became more obviously with 10.12 ms for RT and 5.54 ms for RT when the instruction length was 2000 Byte.

Introduction

CCE has significantly improved its existing technologies in the context of the services they provide. In previous years, Grid, as well as Distributed computing, was unable to provide flexibility as compared to CCE (Zhang et al., 2010). A practical algorithm for LB to get a high rate of fault tolerance. The Major contribution deals with:

  • A technique for LB with grave concern on the improvement of performance parameters like RT, RU, and throughput.

  • A Comparative study and analysis of existing major LB algorithms. Various contributors like peak hour usage and distribution of services are studied and analyzed for algorithms.

The organization of the paper as follows. Section 2 summaries the related researchers' work for LB algorithms. Section 3 illustrated the details of the proposed EDBA-CC dynamic LB that presented for CCE. Experimental test analysis is carried out in Section 4. In conclusion, Section 5, a summary described, along with future work.

The Proposed Approach Of Edba-Cc

Master-Slave Architecture (M-SA) is a sophisticated design with a single M-SA, which has generally utilized in CCE like Google MapReduce (Cingolani & Alcala-Fdez, 2012). Figure 1 illustration the regular situation of the network topology of virtual resources in CCE, which depends on M-SA and the CCE examined in this work.
