Abstract

Industry 4.0 became the boon to secure information discovery. In most existing information discovery systems, mobile computing processes are complex due to their continuous query processing overhead to provide “right information at right time.” Even though many searching applications are there, they are unable to provide the accurate information when needed as the required objects are not being updated regularly. This paper intends to provide a process and Industry 4.0 architectures, which performs a secure information and discovery database through securing the users query. The paper also deals with the responses to the respective query made by monitor tracker agent. The research work secures the information discovery using mobile agents in wireless Industry 4.0 networks.

1. Introduction

The continuous development and improvement of wireless networks and mobile computing devices, together with their challenging limitations, has motivated an intense research effort in mobile data services. The number of devices that are being connected to the internet is increasing day by day. If the machines are connected to the internet, then security measures need to protect the information that is moving in between machines. Privacy issues will also be raised and some control mechanism is required to maintain the privacy. The quality of service can be increased by minimizing the query processing time. Scalability factor also arises as number of machines in a particular zone will change dynamically.

The standardization efforts are made and some related problems define a standard protocol for accessing location information and there is no paper that attempts to define a general architecture where a variety of location information discovery queries can be performed in an efficient way. Thus, there exist commercial applications that deal with some location-dependent aspects, but they present many disadvantages, like the lack of generality. Most of the works that deal with some aspects of the processing of information discovery queries assume a centralized architecture where a single computer is in charge of providing location information about all the interesting objects. So, the proposed model targets to present the solutions for the following problems:

  • Managing efficient and secure monitoring of the moving objects.

  • Securing the sensitive query and sensitive information.

  • Handling parallel computation of multiple user query.

  • Handling continuous and duplicate query.

  • Minimizing the system overload and cost.

First, background study is done and the gaps are identified basing on the background study. Trying to fill the gaps to some extent, both the process and the architecture are proposed by focusing on privacy and quality of service for the information discovery using mobile agents in wireless networks through the decentralized approach and proxies.
