Özgür Yılmazkol

Özgür Yılmazkol is a professor at Istanbul University's Faculty of Communication, Radio, Television, and Cinema. She has published many articles on a national and international level about subjects like advertising, children, women, and citizenship, as well as language, linguistics, education, communication, journalism, and peace journalism. She has directed eight feature documentaries, thirty short films, and eight animations in addition to her academic research. Her areas of expertise included cyberbullying, social discrimination and exclusion, digital citizenship, media literacy, systemic family therapy, film therapy, and family coaching. She primarily assists marginalized populations like women, refugees, gifted, deaf, and handicapped children.
