Özgün Sarımehmet Duman

Özgün Sarımehmet Duman holds BSc in Political Science and Public Administration from METU, MA in Comparative Politics from the University of York (UK) and PhD in Political Science from Ankara University. She completed her post-doctoral research at the University of Sheffield (UK). She conducted research at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) as a Visiting Fellow and at the University of East London as a Senior Research Fellow in European Political Economy. Dr. Sarımehmet Duman’s academic research mainly focuses on international political economy, state-market relations, economic crises, Eurozone crisis, labour market relations, social and employment policies, neoliberalism, globalisation and financialisation. She contributed to the field with a number of books and articles in high-impact journals. Her academic productivity and success were acknowledged and rewarded by many institutions including the European Commission and the Research Council of Turkey.
