Zeús Salvador Hernández-Veleros

Zeus Salvador Hernández Veleros is a research professor in the Academic Area of Economics at the Instituto de Ciencias Económico Administrativas. He is in the National System of Researchers with the Level I. He is a consultant in quantitative and simulation issues, and has worked on port, fiscal, environmental and cluster issues. He worked at the Unidad de Análisis Económico y Apoyo Técnico de la Subsecretaría de Ingresos del Gobierno del Estado de México and was Deputy Director of Quantitative Methods at the Instituto Nacional de Migración. He began his teaching activities at the Universidad Anáhuac in 1997 and that same year at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo. He has been a professor at institutions such as El Colegio Mexiquense, the Economics Faculty of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México, the Instituto de Administración Pública del Estado de Hidalgo, the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey, the Centro Universitario Hidalguense, and the Universidad Autónoma de Quintana Roo. He works on growth models with aspects of econometric measurement, time series and simulation, in this sense his most recent co-authored publication is “Gasto público y crecimiento en un modelo con dos sectores: tasas impositivas óptimas” (2022).
