Zalina binti Abdul Halim

Zalina Binti Abdul Halim has been teaching the subjects of Media and the State, Communications and Multimedia Regulation, Law and Society, Research Methodology, Malaysian Legal System and Land Law in the undergraduate, postgraduate, and Bachelor of Jurisprudence external programme. Her focus had been on the development of the law students' appreciation of the impact on law and society and vice versa which she instilled in the course of Law and Society which was reintroduced into the curriculum in 2010. The students visited the Bukit Koman Residents in Pahang, the Orang Seletar in Danga Bay Johor, the Orang Jahut in Jerantut Pahang. The students also visited vulnerable communities on their own to do their research as part of their assessment. Currently, Dr Zalina binti Abdul Halim helms the Research Methodology class under the Master of Criminal Justice and Master of Commercial Law programme at the Faculty of Law, University of Malaya.
