Zaid Gayle

Zaid Gayle is the Co-founder and Executive Director of Peace4Kids, a nonprofit in South Los Angeles that creates community as family for youth in foster care. In addition to his daily responsibilities, he also serves as the Vice Chair for the LA County Commission for Children and Families and Co-Chairs the Racial Justice Committee. His work in child welfare has positively influenced policy change, best practices and academic research while cultivating a new generation of advocates with lived experience in foster care. With over 20 years of exemplary service to the foster care community, Zaid is a highly sought-after trainer and public speaker both domestically and internationally.
