Yaoying Xu

Yaoying Xu is a Professor in the department of Counseling and Special Education at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Education and Director of the School of Education International Educational Studies Center. Dr. Xu’s research focuses on social interactions of children and students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and how their social interactions predict school success. Dr. Xu teaches Master’s and doctoral level courses in assessment, intervention, single case research designs, and multicultural perspectives in education.
