William O. George

William O. George III , Ed.D., is an Assistant Professor and Director for the Monmouth University Masters in Educational Administration and Doctorate in Educational Leadership Ed.D Program. He has spent 37 years in public education, serving in several roles throughout his career, including Superintendent of Schools at the Hazlet and Middletown Public School Districts. He formerly served as President of the Monmouth County Superintendents’ Roundtable and was on the executive board for over ten years. Dr. George also serves as the interim superintendent for the Monmouth-Ocean Educational Services Commission (MOESC). Dr. George is passionate about the commitment to lifelong learning, leadership, mentorship, and career readiness and advocates for research-based practices that maximize student success.
