Wen-Chen Hu

Wen-Chen HuWen-Chen Hu received a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Florida. He is currently an associate professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the University of North Dakota. He is the general chairs of about 20 international conferences and has been the editor-in-chiefs of the Journal of Information Technology Research (JITR) since 2023 and International Journal of Handheld Computing Research (IJHCR) from 2010 to 2017. In addition, he has acted as more than 200 positions like editors and editorial board members of international journals/books and program committee members of international conferences. Dr. Hu has been teaching for more than 25 years at the US universities and about 20 different computer/IT-related courses and advising/consulting more than 100 graduate students. He has published about 200 articles in refereed journals, conference proceedings, books, and encyclopedias, edited more than 10 books and conference proceedings, and solely authored a book. His current research interests include (mobile) data research and applications.
