Vishnu D. Rajput

Vishnu D. Rajput holds excellent academic records in Agriculture and Biological Sciences, having earned degrees with distinction in B.Sc. Ag and M.Sc. Ag from CS Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, India. He further pursued his Ph.D. from the esteemed Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, and completed his Post-doc from Southern Federal University, Russia. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor (Leading Researcher) at Southern Federal University, Russia. His ongoing research focuses on soil contaminations, particularly the study of potentially toxic elements and metallic nanoparticles. Dr. Rajput's investigations encompass the bioaccumulation, bio/geo-transformations, uptake, translocation, and toxic effects of metallic nanoparticles on various aspects of plant physiology, morphology, anatomy, the ultrastructure of cellular and subcellular organelles, cytomorphometric modifications, and DNA damage. He has extensively detailed the current state of research in environmental science, shedding light on how nanoparticles and heavy metals interact with plants, soil, microbial communities, and the broader environment. With an impressive record of 300 scientific publications, Dr. Rajput has authored 300 peer-reviewed highly-rated full-length articles, 20 books, 60 chapters (indexed in Scopus), and 55 conference articles. He is renowned internationally for his expertise and contribution to the field and has reviewed 200 manuscripts for reputable journals, earning him an outstanding reviewing certificate from Elsevier and Springer. Dr. Rajput also serves on the editorial boards of various high-impact journals. For his outstanding contributions to academic, creative research, and publication activities, Dr. Rajput has received the “Certificate for Appreciation 2019” and the “Certificate of Honor 2020” from Southern Federal University, Russia. He has also been recognized as a “Highly Qualified Specialist” by SFedU and the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, a prestigious status that acknowledges his expertise and accomplishments.
